Minister Sridhar Babu's Key Remarks on the HYDRA Controversy

Telangana Minister Sridhar Babu, during an informal interaction with the media at the Assembly, commented on the HYDRA Commissioner case, stating that the court would also hear the government's arguments. He said the Telangana government would provide a detailed response after receiving the complete copy of the court's judgment. The minister alleged that the BRS had begun spreading misinformation about HYDRA through its affiliated media even before the judgment copy was made available.

Sridhar Babu asserted that HYDRA was working to protect government properties and had received strong support from the middle class. He accused both the BRS and the BJP of filing petitions against HYDRA in court with political motives. Referring to the student protests in Delhi, he described them as a setback for the BJP, adding that the Congress leadership, including Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge, stood firmly with the protesting students. He also said Rahul Gandhi staged a protest near the Prime Minister's residence following the police action against students.
