Jitendra Singh Hits Back at Rahul Gandhi Over NEET Protest

Union Minister Jitendra Singh stated through a social media post that he held discussions with Rahul Gandhi on behalf of the Central Government regarding the NEET issue. He said Rahul initially sought a parliamentary discussion on the examination, and the government conveyed its willingness to debate the matter in Parliament.

Jitendra Singh alleged that Rahul Gandhi later changed his stand by insisting on the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and introducing two additional demands. He argued that altering demands after the government had agreed to a discussion was not appropriate and maintained that Parliament remains the proper forum to debate the NEET issue.
