TPCC Working President Jaggareddy launched a sharp attack on the BJP over the Meenakshi Natarajan issue, alleging that the ruling party was attempting to shift blame onto Congress after committing mistakes of its own. He claimed that the Prime Minister’s Office had intervened in the Rajya Sabha election process and accused the BJP of engaging in political diversion tactics instead of addressing the core issues.
Jaggareddy asserted that there are no covert operatives within the Congress party and warned that strict action would be taken if any internal sabotage is discovered. Referring to Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, he acknowledged having a personal relationship with him but clarified that political matters would be addressed at an appropriate time. He also stated that since Telangana and Andhra Pradesh are separate states, anyone is free to visit Telangana, and reiterated that Congress remains committed to transparency and accountability.
