Former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has made a key announcement regarding a fresh padayatra. He stated that he would begin the padayatra after one and a half years and remain among the people throughout this period. He also announced weekly meetings with party workers from each constituency, starting with the Eluru constituency.
Criticising the state government, YS Jagan said it has only two budget sessions left. He accused the government of ruling with arrogance, misusing the police system, and filing cases against those who question it. He claimed that public resentment has increased and that people have begun to recognise the alleged deceptions of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu.
YS Jagan alleged that promises like “Super Six” and “Super Seven” were nothing but false assurances. He said government schools have deteriorated, the quality of mid-day meals has declined, and fee reimbursement remains pending. He also accused the government of weakening Aarogyasri, 108, and 104 services. Highlighting his tenure, he said his government established 17 medical colleges, while the current government is privatising 10 medical colleges.
