Foundation stone laying for Mamunur Airport in 3 months

Union Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu stated that all proposals for new airports across the country are under review. He said the government is ready to proceed with construction wherever feasibility conditions are favorable.Speaking at a media briefing in Delhi, he announced that preparations are underway to lay the foundation stone for the Mamunoor (Warangal) airport in Telangana within the next three months.

He also mentioned that proposals for airports in Adilabad and Kothagudem are being examined. The central government is considering building a major airport in Adilabad that will serve both military and civilian purposes.
