Former MLA Arrested in Gandipet Land Encroachment Case

In the Gandipet land encroachment case, a Upparpally court has remanded former YSRCP MLA Bolla Brahmanayudu to 14 days of judicial custody. Following his arrest, he was shifted to Chanchalguda jail by police. The case has triggered political discussions in the state.

When Brahmanayudu was brought to the Narsingi police station, a large number of YSRCP supporters and followers gathered outside. However, police did not allow them inside and maintained tight security. The investigation into the land encroachment allegations is currently underway.
