Nani’s The Paradise Tops OTT Charts Despite Facing Criticism

Nani’s recent theatrical release, The Paradise, is now streaming on Netflix in multiple languages. Following its theatrical run, the film made its way to the OTT platform and received criticism from some viewers over its filmmaking style. Despite those reactions, the movie has delivered a surprising performance on the streaming platform. Soon after its digital release, The Paradise secured the No. 1 position on Netflix India’s “Top 10 Movies” list, drawing attention to its popularity among viewers.

Although new releases often make their way onto streaming charts, the film’s rise to the top is notable given the criticism it received. Whether it will also enter Netflix’s global Top 10 rankings remains to be seen. Directed by Srikanth Odela and produced by SLV Cinemas, The Paradise features Kayadu Lohar as the female lead and Mohan Babu as the antagonist. The cast also includes Raghav Juyal, Sonali Kulkarni, Sampoornesh Babu and others. Anirudh Ravichander composed the music for the film.
