Neha Bora has told the Delhi High Court that she had no connection with the call issued by the CJP for hoisting the national flag at Central Park in Connaught Place, New Delhi. She also argued that seeking a change in government was not wrong. The court heard her petition on Thursday challenging a proceedings notice issued by the Delhi Police in the name of maintaining law and order. The case centres on the police notice and the circumstances surrounding the proposed event at the park.
Appearing on Bora’s behalf, senior advocate Gopal Sankaranarayanan argued that she had not engaged in any unlawful activity. Bora’s petition challenges the action taken by the Delhi Police, while her submissions deny any involvement in the CJP’s call for the flag-hoisting event. The matter was taken up by the High Court for hearing, with the legal arguments focusing on the notice issued by the police and the allegations surrounding the proposed gathering.
