Andhra Pradesh BJP President PVN Madhav alleged that a large number of fake voters were enrolled during the previous YSRCP government and stressed the need to remove such entries from electoral rolls. Speaking at the AP BJP Yuva Morcha State Meeting held at the party’s state office in Vijayawada, he urged Yuva Morcha leaders to actively participate in the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process and connect with at least 250 families within their respective booth areas.
Madhav also expressed concern over what he described as the growing influence of anti-national groups and called on party workers to remain vigilant. He encouraged youth leaders to prepare a structured calendar of activities and raise their voice on social issues whenever necessary. Announcing an environmental initiative, he revealed plans to launch a “Palm Tree Movement” aimed at planting 10 lakh palm trees along the Andhra Pradesh coastline in the coming years.
