Jadcherla Congress MLA Anirudh Reddy has made strong remarks regarding drug usage, particularly targeting the film industry. He stated that films of actors should be released only if they undergo drug tests. According to him, if actors refuse to take the test, their movie releases should be stopped. He also alleged that the roots of drug usage are largely present in the film industry.
The MLA further suggested that all public representatives should undergo drug tests once every 90 days. He added that those who refuse to take such tests should not be allowed to enter legislative assemblies. His statements have sparked discussions on stricter regulations and accountability in both the film industry and public life.
