

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has reacted strongly to the tragic accident that occurred in Saudi Arabia and directed officials to begin relief measures without delay. Government authorities have also set up dedicated helpline numbers to assist families.
On Monday, a major road accident took place near Mufarrahath between Badr and Madina when a bus collided with a tanker. Several people are reported to have died in the crash, and many of the victims are believed to be from Telangana. All of them were Indian pilgrims traveling from Mecca to Madina. Detailed information about the incident is still awaited.
CM Revanth Reddy expressed deep shock over the tragedy. He immediately instructed Chief Secretary Ramakrishna Rao and DGP Shivadher Reddy to gather complete details. The Chief Minister said he was saddened to learn that some passengers from Hyderabad were among those involved in the accident.
He directed officials to verify how many people from Telangana were affected and asked them to coordinate with the Ministry of External Affairs and officials at the Saudi Embassy to speed up support measures. If required, he ordered the administration to initiate additional emergency steps.
Following the CM's instructions, Chief Secretary Ramakrishna Rao alerted Delhi Resident Commissioner Gaurav Uppal and asked him to urgently collect accurate information about Telangana natives involved in the accident.
