CPI Telangana state secretary and MLA Koonamneni Sambasiva Rao has made key remarks on the functioning of the Congress government and Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy. He said ministers should be given complete authority and freedom over their respective departments. He warned that restricting ministers’ freedom could lead to new problems for the government in the coming days. Koonamneni also criticised personal remarks made by Konda Sushmitha against the Chief Minister, saying political criticism should focus on policies rather than individuals.
Koonamneni also expressed concern over land-related issues in Telangana. He said people and farmers were facing difficulties because around one crore acres of land had reportedly been placed on the prohibited list. He criticised the government for what he described as a lack of urgency in addressing the issue and demanded immediate action. He urged the government to resolve the problems concerning lands on the prohibited list and take steps to prevent further hardship for farmers and the public.
