BJP Targets Congress Over NEET Issue

Karnataka BJP State President B.Y. Vijayendra said that the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan alone is not the solution to the NEET question paper leak issue. He alleged that the Central Government had not obstructed the protest at Jantar Mantar and claimed that representatives of the protesting group failed to attend the discussions despite being invited. Vijayendra accused the Opposition of using the NEET controversy to politically target Prime Minister Narendra Modi and question his integrity.

Vijayendra, along with BJP leaders, staged a protest near the Mahatma Gandhi statue at Vidhana Soudha, condemning the Congress. He stated that the Centre has already announced strict action against those responsible for NEET and other examination paper leaks and is prepared to establish special fast-track courts for speedy trials. He further alleged that Opposition parties were exploiting students' concerns for political gain and said a formal complaint regarding the alleged attack on BJP leaders had been submitted to the Governor's Secretary.
