

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy met Union Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu, urging swift approvals for new airports in the state. He informed the minister that land acquisition for the Mamunoor airport has been completed and requested immediate commencement of development works. The Chief Minister also sought the conduct of an OLS survey and feasibility study at the identified site in Palvoncha for the proposed Kothagudem airport.
He further requested early clearance for the Antargram airport, stating that an alternative site has already been identified. Regarding the Adilabad airport, the Chief Minister conveyed that an additional 249.82 acres of land has been kept ready for the Central Government. He emphasized that new airports are crucial for enhancing regional connectivity, boosting investment, and accelerating overall development in Telangana.
