AICC President Kharge Renominated to Rajya Sabha from Karnataka

The Congress party has announced its candidates for the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections, naming seven leaders for the Upper House. Party president Mallikarjun Kharge has been renominated from Karnataka, while other candidates include Pawan Khera, Mansoor Ali Khan, Meenakshi Natarajan, Neeraj Dangi, Praveen Chakravarty, and Pranav Jha.

Kharge, who currently serves as the Leader of the Congress Parliamentary Party in the Rajya Sabha, has been given another term as his current tenure nears completion. Meanwhile, Praveen Chakravarty has been nominated from Tamil Nadu after a vacant seat was allocated to Congress by its alliance partner. Elections for 24 Rajya Sabha seats across 10 states are scheduled for June 18, with June 8 being the last date for filing nominations.
