BRS legislature party deputy leader T. Harish Rao criticised the Telangana government over the inclusion of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s residence in the prohibited 22A land list, calling it surprising. Speaking to the media at Telangana Bhavan, he alleged that the government became active only after the issue reportedly affected the Chief Minister’s own property. Harish Rao claimed that government lands linked to the airport and Outer Ring Road, along with housing society lands in Banjara Hills and Jubilee Hills, had also been included in the prohibited list. He alleged that people who paid money for registration without knowing about the restrictions were not receiving refunds and demanded an immediate probe into allegations of commissions being taken to add or remove properties from the list.
Harish Rao also said BRS protests had led to the postponement of meetings of the Godavari and Krishna River Management Boards. He vowed to continue the fight until the issues concerning seven Telangana projects were removed from the agenda. Alleging that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy was personally targeting him for raising allegations against the government, Harish Rao said he had visited the Srirangam Ranganathaswamy Temple in Tamil Nadu and the Kollur Mookambika Temple in Karnataka for spiritual reasons. He challenged the Chief Minister to produce evidence if he had proof that Harish Rao had performed any special rituals there. He also recalled that 370 cases were registered against him during the Telangana movement and claimed that people had recognised his struggle by electing him seven times.
