After films like The Raja Saab and Hari Hara Veera Mallu failed to meet box-office expectations, young Tollywood actress Nidhhi Agerwal is reportedly being more selective about her projects. After staying away from films for some time, she is now using the break to make a comeback with a different kind of story. Moving away from conventional commercial roles, Nidhhi has chosen a mythological thriller that revolves around a strong female character. Directed by Srinivas Gopisetti and produced by Suneeth Padolkar under Varah Films, the project was formally launched with a pooja ceremony in Hyderabad.
The announcement poster has already generated curiosity around the film’s concept. Nidhhi is seen wearing a traditional silk saree and holding a lamp, while a fierce divine figure with six arms appears behind her, creating intrigue about the storyline. Blending mythology with thriller elements, the female-centric project is expected to give Nidhhi an opportunity to explore a performance-oriented role beyond her usual glamorous image. Fans are now keen to see whether this film will become a major turning point in her career.
