No CGI, Real Elephant Action Hits OTT

Kaatalan is bringing its realistic action spectacle to OTT after receiving a positive response in theatres. Starring Antony Varghese Pepe in the lead, the Malayalam crime action thriller impressed audiences by shooting its major elephant action sequences using a real elephant instead of relying on CGI or visual effects. Telugu actor Sunil plays a pivotal role, while Lokesh Kanagaraj appears in a special role alongside Dushara Vijayan and Kabir Singh.

Directed by Paul George and produced by Sharif Mohammed under Cubes Entertainments, the film features action choreography by Kecha Khamphakdee, known for Baahubali 2, Jawan, Ponniyin Selvan, and Baaghi 2. Music is composed by Ravi Basrur, with a special track by B. Ajaneesh Loknath. After earning an IMDb rating of 8.2, Kaatalan is now set to premiere on Manorama Max from August 4.
