An Unexpected Twist for Mirzapur on OTT

The popular Hindi crime drama Mirzapur has made its way to the big screen as a feature film. Released in theatres on September 4, 2026, in Hindi and Telugu, Mirzapur: The Movie has now made a surprise digital debut on Amazon Prime Video. The OTT release has brought excitement among fans, as the streaming version is reportedly longer than the theatrical cut. While the cinema version runs for 3 hours and 17 minutes, the digital version includes an additional 14 minutes of footage. This has raised curiosity among viewers, who are eager to discover what new scenes and content have been added to the OTT cut.

However, the digital release has also disappointed fans waiting to watch the film in Telugu. As of now, the Telugu-dubbed version is not available on the platform. Directed by Gurmmeet Singh, the A-rated crime drama features Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Divyenndu Sharma, Jitendra Sharma, Ravi Kishan, Shweta Tripathi and others in key roles. The film is produced by Excel Entertainment and Amazon MGM Studios. While Hindi-speaking audiences can now stream the extended version, Telugu viewers will have to wait for an update on the dubbed release.
