Nani’s The Paradise received a disappointing response during its theatrical run, failing to meet the expectations of many fans and moviegoers. After its digital premiere on Netflix, the film faced a wave of online trolling, with several viewers blaming director Srikanth Odela for not making the most of Nani’s potential. Despite the criticism, the film appears to have found a wider audience on the streaming platform. According to the Netflix Global Top 10 charts for October 19–25, 2026, The Paradise secured the third position on the Non-English Movies list. Reports also indicate that the film recorded three million views within just three days of its digital debut, making its streaming performance a talking point despite the negative reactions it received in theatres.
Kayadu Lohar played the female lead in the pan-Indian film, while Mohan Babu appeared in a negative role. Raghav Juyal, Sonali Kulkarni and Sampoornesh Babu were among the actors who played supporting characters. Produced by SLV Cinemas, the film features music composed by Anirudh Ravichander. The contrast between the film’s theatrical reception and its performance on Netflix has sparked discussion among moviegoers. While some viewers continue to criticise the film and its direction, its position on the global streaming chart suggests that it has attracted considerable attention online. However, its ranking and reported viewership alone do not necessarily indicate that audience opinion about the film has changed.
