Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has issued a strong warning regarding rebel candidates contesting against the officially nominated candidates of the alliance parties. He reportedly stated that candidates who continue to contest as rebels would be treated as suspended from the party. Emphasising the importance of party discipline and coordination among alliance partners, Chandrababu made it clear that ministers would be held responsible for ensuring the victory of the candidates in their respective areas. His remarks underline the leadership’s focus on preventing internal disagreements from affecting the alliance’s electoral prospects.
The Chief Minister also instructed ministers to resolve election-related disputes immediately and ensure that differences among party leaders and workers do not escalate. He warned that once an opportunity to settle such issues had passed, those responsible would not be spared. Chandrababu further stressed that all parties in the alliance must respect the principles of coalition politics and adhere to the agreed seat-sharing arrangements. His message was aimed at strengthening coordination, maintaining discipline and ensuring that alliance candidates receive unified support during the elections.
