A Fun-Filled Family Comedy-Drama Chumbak Now Streaming on OTT

Hindi multi-generational comedy-drama series Chumbak is now streaming on Netflix in India from September 10, 2026. Set in a lively urban colony, the series revolves around five quirky families who gradually become one extended household. Blending humour, warmth and nostalgia, Chumbak explores the amusing chaos of community living, where privacy is hard to find and even the smallest incident can quickly become a colony-wide affair. The series was originally scheduled to premiere on August 28 but was postponed by nearly two weeks as Netflix reworked its promotional rollout.

Backed by Jamnadas (JD) Majethia and produced under Hats Off Production, Chumbak has been written and directed by Aatish Kapadia. The ensemble cast includes Neena Gupta, Deven Bhojani, Sumeet Vyas, Manasi Parekh, Arjun Bijlani, Helly Shah, Delnaaz Irani and Sumeet Raghvan in key roles. The series began streaming in India at 12:30 PM on September 10, following Netflix’s global release schedule rather than a local midnight premiere.
