The Telugu reality show The Traitors Telugu, hosted by Teja Sajja, becomes more engaging in its latest episodes with heated arguments, challenging missions and unexpected twists. Following the eliminations of Chinmayi Sripada, Nikhil Vijendra Simha, Gaurav Sunil and Vidyullekha Raman, the new episodes focus on the contestants’ attempts to identify the Traitors while avoiding suspicion themselves. Vishnu Oi joins the Traitors’ team but struggles to hide his changed behaviour and is soon banished. The Traitors then strike back by eliminating Sai Ronak, increasing the pressure on the remaining contestants. Meanwhile, Rahat Achanta attempts to build trust with Varsha D’Souza and Pranav Chaganti while diverting suspicion towards others.
The missions add more excitement to the show, testing both teamwork and individual strategy. In one challenge, the contestants fail to complete the task and do not add any money to the common prize pot. Another mission, worth ₹28 lakh, asks contestants to choose between keeping their individual winnings and contributing to the shared fund. None of them contributes, exposing the lack of unity among the group. In a later mission, the contestants try to save potential targets from a midnight murder, but only Mouneesha Chowdary is rescued. Shravya Varma emerges as a strong player among the Innocents by questioning suspicious behaviour and identifying Rahat as a Traitor. Rahat’s subsequent banishment becomes another important win for the Innocents, while Varsha feels betrayed and Pranav continues to believe Rahat was innocent.
With Vishnu and Rahat eliminated, Ashika Padukone remains the only Traitor, making the game more challenging for her. She must manipulate the Innocents without drawing attention to herself, while Shravya remains a significant threat. The contestants’ personal grudges and misplaced trust could influence the upcoming rounds. Teja Sajja continues to guide the show, although the missions and intense discussions now take centre stage. The latest episodes improve the show’s suspense and strategic gameplay, but their lengthy runtime remains a drawback, with some episodes lasting close to or more than two hours. With the balance of power shifting, viewers will be watching to see whether Ashika can survive the growing suspicion and turn the game in her favour.
