

Revanth Reddy announced that the Government of Telangana will provide free electric scooters to girl students in the state. The announcement was made during the celebrations of International Women's Day held at Praja Bhavan. The initiative aims to reduce travel difficulties for students and encourage them to continue their education.
The Chief Minister stated that the scheme will be implemented soon as part of the government’s election promises. He also highlighted several welfare measures already introduced for women, including free bus travel and financial support through self-help groups and housing schemes. According to him, providing free scooters to girl students will improve their mobility, support their education, and strengthen women’s empowerment.
