

Widespread protests have erupted over the targeting of Hindus in Bangladesh, drawing international attention to the escalating violence. In response, the Indian government summoned the Bangladesh High Commissioner in Delhi to discuss the deteriorating situation. Allegations have surfaced that the government led by Yunus was behind the assassination of Usman Hadi, with his brother Omar Hadi claiming that key officials within the Yunus administration orchestrated the killing. Omar further alleged that Hadi was murdered to destabilize upcoming elections and challenge the authority of Sheikh Hasina’s government.
Usman Hadi was shot on the 12 th of this month and succumbed to his injuries on the 18 th. His death triggered widespread unrest and riots across Bangladesh, reflecting deep-seated tensions in the region. The incident has heightened concerns about political violence and minority safety in the country, drawing criticism from civil society and international observers alike.
