Vijay Divorce Case Hearing Deferred to June 15!

The divorce proceedings involving actor and Vijay and his wife Sangeetha Sornalingam came up for hearing at the Chengalpattu Principal Sessions Court today. The court adjourned the case to June 15 and directed both parties to be present in person. Vijay’s counsel informed the court that he is currently occupied with the Tamil Nadu Assembly election campaign and requested permission for virtual appearance, but the court reportedly declined and insisted on his physical presence on the next hearing date.

Meanwhile, reports regarding a possible settlement between the couple have been widely circulating in the media. Based on Vijay’s declared assets in his nomination, Sangeetha is said to have sought a settlement of around ₹250 crore, along with provisions for their son and daughter. However, Kollywood sources suggest that Vijay has agreed to a settlement of about ₹35 crore for Sangeetha and has expressed willingness to take responsibility for their children.
