AP Issues Orders on Amaravati Naming

The Government of Andhra Pradesh has issued fresh orders regarding the official usage of Amaravati’s name. It directed that all official documents and communications must use the name “Amaravati” consistently. Instructions have been sent to all district collectors to strictly follow this directive in every government record and correspondence.

The government also clarified the correct spelling to be used in English. It stated that while writing Amaravati in English, the ending should be “ti” instead of “thi”. This move aims to ensure uniformity and accuracy in official records and avoid variations in spelling across departments.
