Filmmaker M. S. Raju is coming up with a new project titled Agadha, which is being made as a pan-India mystical divine thriller. Known for delivering several successful films as a producer and director, he is now focusing on offering a unique cinematic experience with this film. Under Sumanth Arts, he previously produced successful films like Okkadu, Varsham, and Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana. As a director, he has also explored different storytelling styles with films like Dirty Hari and Malli Pelli.
For Agadha, he has chosen a completely new concept and has been working on it for nearly a year. The promotional campaign began in an interesting way with a humorous video featuring thieves entering his office and reacting to movie posters, ending with a mysterious reveal of the Agadha poster.
The recently released poster adds to the intrigue, showing a dark cave, dim lighting, a large mystical idol with twelve hands, and a woman standing before it, creating a mysterious atmosphere. Produced by Kashi Visalakshi Balusu under Sri Adivaraha Productions, the film will release in multiple languages including Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi. The shooting has been completed, and post-production work is currently in progress.
M. S. Raju stated that the film was shot over 85 days across different locations and will feature around 45 minutes of VFX, indicating its scale. More details about the cast will be revealed soon.
