Two Children Drown in Pond at KC Thanda

A tragic incident occurred at KC Thanda in the Maheshwaram mandal headquarters, where two young boys lost their lives after accidentally drowning in Kotwal Cheruvu. The victims were identified as Jatavath Rishi and Badrinath, residents of KC Thanda. The children had gone out to play and wandered near the pond, where they accidentally slipped and fell into the water.

Following information from family members and local residents, police and rescue teams rushed to the spot and launched a search operation. The rescue team retrieved both bodies from the pond shortly after. The bodies were shifted to Osmania Hospital for post-mortem examination. The incident has cast a pall of gloom over the KC Thanda area, with grieving parents and relatives left in deep sorrow. Police have registered a case and initiated an investigation.
