Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s recent visit to Pulivendula has triggered an administrative controversy after TTD officials issued show-cause notices to temple priests who offered Vedic blessings to him. Priests from Ontimitta Kodanda Ramalayam and a staff member from a Venketeswara Swamy temple reportedly visited the former Chief Minister’s residence without prior approval from the TTD administration and performed ritual offerings including Vedic blessings and sacred items.
Taking serious note of the incident, TTD authorities issued notices asking the priests to explain their actions within two days. Officials stated that failure to respond or unsatisfactory explanations may lead to disciplinary action. The matter has drawn attention as temple protocols and administrative guidelines were allegedly not followed during the visit.
