In a rare decision in the history of Telangana state, the state cabinet meeting will be held this time in Medaram, Mulugu district, away from the capital Hyderabad. The cabinet meeting will take place on Sunday, the 18th of this month, at 5 PM at the Haritha Hotel in Medaram. The government has decided to hold the meeting, which is usually held at the Secretariat, in Medaram, a tribal area. Government Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao has issued official orders to this effect.

In this meeting, along with reviewing the arrangements for the Medaram Sammakka-Saralamma Jathara (festival), key decisions are likely to be taken on the development of tribal areas. Similarly, there are indications that important issues such as the state budget, municipal elections, and farmer welfare schemes will also be discussed. Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, ministers, and senior officials have already been informed about this cabinet meeting, and orders have been issued to the Mulugu District Collector and SP to make the necessary arrangements.
