

In a significant development, the foundation stone for the Telangana High Court Zone-II buildings was laid at Rajendranagar in Rangareddy district. Justice Surya Kant attended the ceremony along with Supreme Court judges Justice Alok Aradhe, Justice S. V. Bhatti, Justice Ujjal Bhuyan, and Justice P. S. Narasimha. Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, High Court Chief Justice Aparesh Kumar Singh, Chief Secretary Ramakrishna Rao, and DGP Shivadhar Reddy were also present. The Chief Justice also reviewed the architectural model of the proposed High Court complex.

Addressing the gathering, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy described the occasion as historic, stating that constructing a court complex is like creating a sacred space for justice. He emphasized that courts serve as the last hope for common citizens and that the new High Court complex will stand as a symbol of democracy and justice. Spread across over 100 acres, the project aims to be one of the largest and most modern court complexes in India, with completion targeted by December 2027. The government is also working on multiple court infrastructure projects across the state to strengthen the judicial system.
