Arjun Tendulkar, son of cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, has shared some interesting insights about his personal life ahead of the IPL 2026 season. Recently traded from Mumbai Indians to Lucknow Super Giants, Arjun revealed that he does not have close friendships with any cricketers. Surprisingly, he also mentioned that his favorite cricketer is not his father, which has caught the attention of fans. His participation in the upcoming match against Delhi Capitals is still uncertain.
In an interview on Shubhankar Mishra’s podcast, Arjun spoke about how he stays calm and relaxed. He shared that spending time with his five pet dogs at his Goa home helps him stay peaceful and away from the pressure of cricket. He believes these pets play a big role in keeping him stress-free and mentally balanced.
Arjun also said that unlike most players, he does not talk about cricket with his friends, as many of them are not from the cricket world. He enjoys spending time with them without discussing the game, which helps him take a break from cricket life. When asked about criticism, he confidently said he is not afraid of it. He also revealed that his favorite cricketer is former all-rounder Yuvraj Singh, whose batting he admires a lot. Despite being Sachin Tendulkar’s son, Arjun is still working hard to establish his own identity in cricket, having played a few IPL matches and taken three wickets so far.
