Minister Ponguleti Faces Controversy Over Illegal Mining Allegations

Legislative Council Opposition Leader Madhusudana Chary made serious allegations against Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, accusing him of illegal activities and misuse of government assets. Speaking to the media at Gun Park, he stated that the minister, who has taken an oath to uphold the Constitution, has failed in his responsibility to protect public interests. He alleged that Raghava Constructions carried out illegal mining without proper permissions and failed to pay dues to the government. He further claimed that the Chief Minister was also involved and demanded the immediate dismissal of the minister.

Meanwhile, BRS Legislative Council members staged a protest at Gun Park, holding placards against the Congress government. They demanded a probe by a sitting High Court judge into the alleged corruption of ministers. Accusing Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy of illegal mining, they called for his immediate removal from office. Several leaders, including Vani Devi, Madhusudana Chary, and Deshapati Srinivas, participated in the protest.
