Copy Controversy Surrounds ‘Dhurandhar’ !

Dhurandhar: The Revenge, directed by Aditya Dhar and starring Ranveer Singh, is creating a storm at the box office with record-breaking collections worldwide. However, the film has now landed in a major controversy. Director Santosh Kumar RS has alleged that the movie is copied from his script titled “D-Saheb,” claiming that several key characters and scenes resemble the story he registered in 2023.

Reacting strongly, Aditya Dhar’s legal team dismissed the allegations as baseless and sent legal notices to Santosh Kumar, warning him against spreading false claims. On the other hand, Santosh Kumar stated that he has proof from the Screenwriters Association and is ready to take the matter to court. Despite the controversy, the film’s performance remains unaffected, as it has already crossed ₹1500 crores globally and is racing towards the ₹2000 crore mark, eyeing records of films like Baahubali 2 and Dangal.
