The flow of devotees at the Tirumala Sri Venkateswara Temple remained steady on Sunday. With the completion of the Karthika month, the number of pilgrims arriving from nearby states and regions has slightly decreased. At present, devotees without time-slot tokens are required to wait nearly 12 hours to have darshan.
For those who booked the Rs.300 Special Darshan tickets, the queues are moving much faster, allowing them to complete darshan within about 2 hours. By Monday, devotees were waiting for their turn across 25 compartments inside the Vaikuntam Queue Complex.
TTD officials reported that 78,974 devotees visited the temple on Friday, and the Srivari Hundi collection for the day amounted to Rs.3.61 crore.
