Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar has made a strategic investment in Hyderabad-based solar company Suntek Energy Systems Private Limited (brand: Truzon Solar). Announced on December 23, 2025, the partnership involves Sachin purchasing 1.8 lakh shares for ₹3.6 crore, representing roughly a 2% stake in the company.
Founded in 2008 by Charugundla Bhavani Suresh, Truzon Solar operates across residential, commercial, and utility-scale solar projects, rooftop systems, and PM-KUSUM schemes. The company currently has a strong presence in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh.
Truzon Solar is now aggressively expanding into new markets such as Tamil Nadu and Uttar Pradesh. Founder and Managing Director Charugundla Bhavani Suresh stated, “Our partnership with Sachin is not just an investment; it is a strong validation of our values, governance, and long-term vision. This collaboration will enhance brand credibility and support rapid national expansion.”
The company also highlighted that Sachin’s values of trust, excellence, and national pride align perfectly with Truzon Solar, accelerating India’s clean energy transition. With the goal of becoming one of India’s top three solar EPC companies by 2030, this investment marks a significant milestone. Sachin has previously invested in renewable energy ventures such as Rejan Solar, and this latest partnership is expected to further boost India’s solar energy sector.
