

Seven people lost their lives in two separate road accidents reported on Friday in different districts of Andhra Pradesh. In the first incident, a private travel bus rammed into a stationary car on the national highway at Ankireddypalem in Guntur district. Three occupants of the car died on the spot, while another person sustained serious injuries. The victims were reportedly residents of Suryapet. Police rushed to the spot and shifted the bodies to a government hospital mortuary.
In another tragic incident in Kurnool district’s Allagadda mandal, a speeding car collided head-on with a travels bus near Nallagatla village. Four people died instantly, and two others were critically injured. Police initiated rescue operations and shifted the injured to a hospital. Authorities have cautioned motorists to be extra careful, especially during the winter season when accidents tend to increase.
