Nidhi Agarwal in betting app case

The Special Investigation Team (SIT) under the CID has expedited the probe into the betting app case. Several celebrities have already appeared before the SIT and presented their versions. Recently, Nidhi Agarwal attended the SIT inquiry and clarified her involvement. Nidhi, who promoted a US-based betting app, stated that she was unaware of its operations and terminated her agreement a year after realizing the nature of the activity. Anchor Srimukhi was also questioned by the SIT on the same day. Earlier, celebrities like Rana, Vijay Devarakonda, and Prakash Raj appeared before the SIT. They repeated the explanations they had previously given to the Panjagutta police station.

The number of betting app victims in the Telugu states is rising daily. Many ordinary citizens have lost their money and properties, while some have fallen into debt and even committed suicide. The current CP and former RTC MD Sajjanar have launched a strong campaign against this illegal activity. Several social media celebrities were warned, and cases were filed against a few. These actions have sparked widespread discussion and awareness among the public about betting apps.
