Telangana minister Tummala Nageswara Rao has written a letter to Union Home Minister Amit Shah, requesting the merger of five villages currently in Andhra Pradesh with Telangana. These villages are located near Bhadrachalam and the minister highlighted the need to bring them under Telangana for better administration.
He explained that merging these villages with Bhadrachalam would make governance easier and help solve several issues faced by tribal communities in the region. According to him, the current administrative setup is creating difficulties for the people living there.
Tummala also urged the central government to introduce a bill in the ongoing Parliament session to complete the merger process. He stressed that this step is important to improve the lives of the local people and ensure smoother administration in the area.
