Mega Power Star Ram Charan is teaming up with director Buchi Babu Sana, a protege of Sukumar, for the high-budget sports drama Peddi. The film has already generated massive pan-India expectations, and now an interesting update regarding its business is making headlines. Reports suggest that Mythri Movie Makers is planning to release the film on its own in the Nizam region, a bold move driven by strong confidence in the project, despite lucrative offers from other distributors.
The Nizam theatrical rights are estimated to be around ₹63 crore, making it a challenging target, especially if there is no hike in ticket prices. However, trade experts believe that positive word of mouth could help the film achieve this milestone. The promotional content released so far has already created a strong buzz on social media. With Ram Charan appearing in a sports-based role for the first time and music composed by Oscar winner A. R. Rahman, expectations have soared. The film also stars Janhvi Kapoor, Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, Divyenndu Sharma, and Boman Irani in key roles.
