Editor Pradeep E. Raghav has been suspended by the Southern India Film Editors Association in connection with the Jana Nayagan movie leak case. The action was taken after several scenes from the film surfaced online. According to the Chennai Cyber Crime department, a freelance assistant editor allegedly entered the editing room without authorization and stole the footage.
The association stated that negligence on the part of Pradeep also contributed to the incident, leading to his suspension. The film, starring popular actor Vijay, has caused concern among the film’s team and the Kollywood industry after the leak. The main accused in the case have already been arrested. The movie, which was originally scheduled for release in January, has been facing repeated delays.
