The escape of inter-state criminal Bheemudu Ajith Kumar from Guntur has created a major sensation in Andhra Pradesh. He reportedly acted as if he had chest pain and got admitted to the hospital. Taking advantage of the situation, he escaped quietly without being noticed. Following this incident, three Armed Reserve constables were suspended for negligence in duty.
The case did not stop there. Repalle sub-jail superintendent was also suspended after officials found his involvement in allowing the prisoner to be shifted to Guntur Government Hospital. Reports revealed that Ajith Kumar had transferred ₹60,000 online to the superintendent through his sister. As the investigation continues, more shocking details are coming out.
Interestingly, this is not the first time Ajith Kumar escaped from custody. In 2018, he had earlier escaped from Ongole jail, making this a repeated pattern. His latest escape has once again raised serious concerns about prison security and official negligence.
