

Global tech giant Google has expressed interest in partnering with the Telangana government in various sectors. Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy met with Google Asia Pacific Area President Sanjay Gupta at the Davos World Economic Forum. During the meeting, they held comprehensive discussions on key issues such as traffic management, cybersecurity, agriculture, startups, and climate change. Sanjay Gupta stated that Google is ready to provide technology-based assistance to address the impact of climate change on agriculture and the growing pollution problems in urban areas.
In the meeting, CM Revanth Reddy explained the CURE, PURE, and RARE development models being implemented by the Telangana government. He also discussed plans to transform core Hyderabad into a pollution-free city, as well as opportunities for mutual cooperation in traffic control, cybersecurity, and startup innovation. The Chief Minister thanked the Google team for establishing the first Google for Startups hub in Hyderabad. Ministers Sridhar Babu and Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, among others, participated in the meeting and explained government initiatives such as the Young India Skills University, AI curriculum, and high-speed internet.
