

In response to the fuel shortage in Andhra Pradesh, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu held a teleconference with officials and petroleum company representatives. The meeting included Civil Supplies Minister Nadendla Manohar, district collectors, police officials and senior officers. The Chief Minister reviewed the steps taken so far and asked for a detailed report on actions implemented since the previous night.
Officials and oil company representatives informed that most areas are expected to return to normal by this evening. The Chief Minister instructed all departments and oil companies to work in coordination to ensure smooth supply. He also directed that oil tankers dispatched in the morning should reach retail petrol stations without delay and emphasized that collectors and police officials must personally monitor the situation to avoid inconvenience to the public.
He further ordered continuous monitoring through the RTG center and asked for reports every three hours. Officials were told to respond quickly based on media and ground-level information. The Chief Minister also warned of strict action against anyone involved in black marketing or creating artificial shortages. Oil companies have been instructed to work continuously until the situation is fully resolved.
