PM Modi’s appeal to the nation in ‘Mann Ki Baat’

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has called on all citizens to actively participate in the Census 2027. Speaking in the 133rd episode of 'Mann Ki Baat', he said the census is being conducted in a fully digital format, making the process more efficient and modern.

He explained that census staff will collect data through a mobile application, while citizens can also use a self enumeration facility. People can enter their details in advance and share a unique ID with officials to avoid duplicate entry. He emphasized that the census is not just a government exercise but a collective responsibility, and assured that all information will remain secure and confidential.
