Reliance Industries Limited, led by Mukesh Ambani, has announced its Q4 financial results, reporting a decline in net profit compared to the previous year. For the fourth quarter of FY2025-26, the company posted a net profit of ₹16,971 crore, marking a year-on-year decline of 12.5 percent. The company also reported a drop compared to the previous quarter’s earnings, indicating pressure on its performance.
The decline in profits is mainly attributed to challenges in the oil and chemicals segment due to ongoing market conditions. However, the company’s revenue for the quarter increased to ₹3.03 lakh crore from ₹2.69 lakh crore last year. For the full financial year, Reliance recorded a net profit of ₹80,775 crore, showing a 16 percent growth compared to the previous year, reflecting overall strong annual performance despite quarterly fluctuations.
