Opposition Leader Botsa Satyanarayana strongly criticized the practice of using Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy's name for political gain, deeming it inappropriate. Speaking at a press conference held in Visakhapatnam, he became visibly emotional and broke down in tears. He stated that his family shared a deep bond with YSR, and that making malicious comments regarding his death was deeply distressing.
Botsa specifically and severely condemned the remarks made by Kinjarapu Atchannaidu, demanding that he immediately retract them and offer an apology to the public. He clarified that the assertion—that Jagan was abroad at the time of YSR's death—was completely false, emphasizing that Jagan was, in fact, right there with them at that time. He further alleged that the government is currently attempting to divert public attention because it is unable to provide a satisfactory response regarding the 'Mavigan' issue.
