

The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has stated that the pilgrim rush at Tirumala is normal today. At present, devotees are waiting in 18 compartments for Lord Venkateswara’s darshan. According to TTD, devotees without tokens may have to wait approximately 8 to 10 hours for darshan. Those holding Sarva Darshan and Divya Darshan tokens are likely to wait between 3 to 5 hours, while devotees opting for the ₹300 Special Entry Darshan may have a waiting time of around 2 to 3 hours. TTD also advised that darshan timings may vary depending on the crowd situation and requested devotees to take note of the same.
Meanwhile, on the occasion of Maha Shivaratri yesterday, Tirumala witnessed a heavy influx of devotees. A total of 80,502 devotees had darshan of the Lord, and 24,608 pilgrims offered their hair as part of their vows. Through the offerings made by devotees, the hundi collections amounted to ₹3.74 crore, TTD officials confirmed.
