

The Chief Minister reviewed the development plans of Basara Temple and discussed the master plan with officials. During the meeting, officials explained the proposed plan and the CM gave several suggestions to improve it. He instructed that the temple development should be carried out in a grand manner while respecting the beliefs of devotees and following traditional practices.
The CM emphasized the need for proper infrastructure, keeping future needs and crowd management in mind. He suggested building wider roads and ensuring smooth movement of devotees. He also directed officials to allow only electric vehicles in the temple surroundings to maintain cleanliness and reduce pollution.
To protect the sanctity of the temple, the CM ordered strict rules and regulations. He also suggested that, like Tirumala, no political activities should be allowed near temple premises. The CM will lay the foundation stone for the development works on the 6th of this month, with a budget of ₹225 crore.
